A little backstory, I had a room only reservation for this Saturday 12/2 just for the night at POFQ for DH, DD AGE 10 and my mother and I. We live about an hour and a half away but wanted to stay late and enjoy all that Disney has to offer before we get Christmas busy.. there was a family emergency so I called last night to see if they would waive any cancellations and refund my total amount since I was in the 5 day window. They did.

Well wouldn't you know, this morning I woke up and crisis averted. We can still go, but sadly there aren't any more rooms at POFQ. I called an dmy options are CSR, CBR( which the CM told me is terrible right now) and an AOA LM room?

Which would you choose? I know CSR is under construction but how bad is it.? We are bringing my mom who has bad knees so the walk is going to kill her at either resort. They are priced whithin a few dollars of each other so I'm just trying to figure out which I one is the better choice. I stayed at CSR pre construction last year and we enjoyed the room, I would love a refurb this time.

If walking is an issue, people complain about the LM rooms all the time. I was fine with them, but I don't have difficulty walking. I've never been to CSR though. I don't think the construction there is as bad as CBR is said to be. I stayed at CBR before and that resort is huge, but the bus stop wasn't far away (the buses took forever though). Based on complaints I've seen here, I'd probably opt for CSR and request a room as close to what you want to be close to as possible.

CSR and it's not even close. 2 Queen beds will win over 2 doubles for 4 people every time.

I spent one night in AoA LM a few years ago, and it's a 'never again' for us. Chaotic resort, long bus lines, and a long walk from LM to anywhere. I can't comment on CSR but we check in next week for the first time in a moderate so fingers crossed.

We loved CSR. It's a tie between CSR and POR as our favourite WDW resort. I think construction only affects part of Rancho section and not restaurants and pools so I would choose CSR over AoA. Unless your daughter is a big fan of Little Mermaid, Lion King or Nemo.

Ditto ditto ditto. As you can see in my signature, I have multiple stays at each of the values over the last 12 years EXCEPT AoA LM where once was enough. Hands down *anywhere* else.....

The walk to LM rooms (even the closest room, which we literally stayed in) was a huge dissatisfier for us, so I would skip AoA for anyone with mobility issues.
