AoA kids activities

If you have stayed there, can you tell me what kids of activities went on around the pool for kids?

I thought I read that there were movies at night? has anyone seen a movie there at night?

We will be there when the Lion King Section opens, do you think there will be any kind of show or opening like when the resort opened? Trying to see if we should try to be "around" for special characters etc..
