AoA family suites.

Hey everyone, just had a quick question about historical discounts (I know that counting on discounts that aren't released is frowned upon.)
However, I was curious if anyone knew if the family suites have been eligible for the spring time room only discounted rates? I know generally the little mermaid rooms are excluded.

I think the suites have been included. You may be able to look up that info on mousesavers.com search Historical Discounts.
I will never pay rack rate, so I just watch for when discount comes out to book. But if you're going to stay there regardless of discount, book anytime.
The historical discount chart may also give you an idea of when discounts are released.
I use an online Disney Specialized travel agency who does all the watching and booking for me. Working full time, I don't have the time to wait on hold for an hour the morning discounts are released.

Yeah we try not to pay rack rate.

We have a group of 6 going. 3 adults and 3 kids who will be aged 9/6/3.
We went this past april and booked as soon as the rates became available, knowing (hoping) that historically theres a spring discount of 15-25%.
We booked at CBR because our youngest was (is still) 2 at the time, so she didn't count towards occupancy. Now we're looking at AoA Suites because we can fit all 6 of us in there, but I just wasn't sure if the suites generally qualified for discounts.

I don't know about spring but in the fall, I don't think that the Finding Nemo suites were included in 2014 and 2016. I used a Disney specialist travel agent who took care of the discounts so I might be in mistaken. I do remember that we switched from Finding Nemo to Lion King in 2014 to get the discount. The Finding Nemo rooms seem to be priced higher in general, due to demand. I would just book Cars or Lion King and watch for discounts.

We just booked AoA suites a couple nights ago for Aug with free dining for 5 adults for 5 days so I know they have discounts I just don't about historically for Spring-room only (they have it going on right now for the Fall), free dining is a better deal for us. We got our trip for $3800!! We saved about $800 vs a room only with dining and hopper added!! But I know it varies family to family.

Without looking at the historical data, I want to say that the discount on the AoA family suites is less than the discounts you see on the value resorts as a whole. I looked into it briefly because my boys would have loved the theming but we didn't need the space for a family of 4.

It's not what you asked, but I wanted to point out that the All Star Music had family suites with TWO bathrooms. They are not as pretty as the ones at AoA, but sometimes two bathrooms trumps theming depending on the group. I believe they run cheaper by about $40/night.
