AoA and Pop - do they ever share buses?

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but we just got back from an 11 day trip at Pop and we did share a bus with AoA on 2 occasions. Hopefully it is only a rare occurrence though and won't happen more often.

We were there from 5/6 to 5/16 and early in our stay our bus picked up a few of us and then went over to AoA where there a much larger line waiting. I think we were headed to Epcot that morning. I remember thinking, hmmm I haven't read about any bus sharing on the DisBoards yet.

Then on our last morning, 5/16, we were headed to the MK at about 8:30 am and again stopped at AoA to pick up guests. Again, there were more people there waiting than had been at Pop.

We were surprised by the shorter Pop lines than year's past. AoA always had longer lines. One night when leaving MK after closing, the AoA line was so long that they were bringing in multiple full sized Mear's buses to move the guests faster. It kind of made me glad that all of the LM rooms had been sold out and we weren't able to switch after all.

We shared one night after EMH. I would imagine its something they do only in unusual circumstances. We were the only family heading to AoA on the bus.

I've stayed at POP almost 2 weeks in January, one week in March, and 5 days in May (now in May I didn't go to the parks much). All of that was this year. And in all of this time, I was only on one bus that went to AoA to help alleviate heavy lines over there. I think we were going to MK (or maybe Epcot) but either way there were less than 6 of us on the bus. Maybe only 3?? So the driver was dispatched over to AoA to help with their backup. Even after we 'filled up', there were still people left in the queue at AoA! The lines were that bad over there. And it was a mid morning run. But I would say it is the RARE exception that they share! Definitely not the norm... So basically, for all intents and purposes I would say in general, No, they don't share. But there may be the RARE exception that they will share. But it is rare. I wouldn't sweat it. HTH!
