AoA and Pop Bus Question

Have people had luck with riding both resort buses no matter which one you are staying at? I have heard of people grabbing the first one and then walking across the bridge. I am not familiar with these resorts but we are staying at AoA next month. Just looking to see if it is a good idea to grab a Pop Bus or if the walk makes it more trouble than it is worth. Thanks in advance.

Personally for us the walk would be too much of a hassle especially at the end of the day. Honestly though i am here right now and there seems to be less of a wait for AOA busses. I have seen some really long lines at POP.

We were there in May and stayed at Pop the week AoA opened. We had one night where we were waiting for a bus back to Pop from DTD forever and saw two empty AoA buses go by. We finally got on the third bus to AoA (and of course the Pop bus was right behind it). We had the bus to ourselves and got to check out the new resort on the walk back.

We just got back and did this once or twice. There were some times were lines were 5 buses deep for Pop, and bus after bus came for AoA. The walk between the two resorts is not bad at all!

We did this a few times during our September AoA stay as well. The walk from Pop to AoA is not bad at all (maybe 5-7 min), but it just kinda depended on how tired/hot we were at the time.

We took the Pop bus a few time when we were at AoA in September. Our room was on the lake side so the walk was not much further.
