Monday 20th December
Again we were woken up by Stitch, which tickled me. We had the Keys to the Kingdom Tour booked for today. Unfortunately, I woke up with my migraine back to full hit and I felt really sick. We went to the food court, or rather hubby made me accompany him so I could get some fresh air on the way, but all the food smells really turned my stomach and I couldnt eat a thing. I couldnt even watch hubby eating his cheese Danish pastry! I told him that I didnt want to do the tour as I really didnt feel right. He was a little narked at first but he realised that I was ill so he went without me. I spent the day in bed sleeping I threw up twice not long after hed left and I felt a little better afterwards, even though I hate being sick. Im not sure if I picked up a bug or whether it was jet lag affecting me.
Hubby came back straight after the tour ended. He loved it and told me all about it. He said it was definitely worth doing. At lunch, he was talking to the tour guide Daniel and hubby asked if he knew what was happening with the Pop Century Legendary Years section. Apparently they are working on it at the moment and it will open Spring 2006! We did some lights on and lots of heavy vehicles there a few days later so maybe it will get finished. Because I was ill, Daniel gave hubby a pin for me which I thought was really sweet and I appreciated the gesture. The CM who checked Andy in also said as I was ill, theyd refund my money which they didnt have to do, so again the gesture was much appreciated (and they refunded the money next day, how cool!)
Hubby was shattered so he had some sleep with me. About 5pm, we got up and headed out to Premium Outlets. It was so busy! We had to park on the grass in the end other 4x4s had done it so we figured wed do it too. Hubby did very well at Nike 3 t-shirts for $24, some joggers and another top, all for under $50. I bought him some trainers from the Adidas shop for Christmas. I found a bowling t-shirt for my mums fella in Big Dogs, he loves their shirts. The Disney Character Warehouse was very disappointing I came out with a flashing sorcerers hat for my mobile phone antenna (which I've since lost
and a Jessie and Bullseye Christmas decoration. The Universal shop was a complete waste of time.
After our little shopping spree, we headed to Chilis. There was a 45 minute wait so we went to the bar. We found a spare table so asked if we could have it and we could, as nobody else wanted to sit in the bar result! We pigged out a little we ordered boneless shanghai wings, fried mozzarella sticks and the triple play, which was southwestern eggrolls, boneless buffalo wings and chicken crispers. Mmmm! It was all so good, and it was my first meal of the day and went down incredibly well!
After Chilis, it was back to the room for some That 70s Show on the WB followed by bed at midnight.
