Our synagogue scrip program sells Disney gift cards and one member wanted to know if they were good everywhere in the parks and at DTD. I know they are good throughout the parks and at the hotels but I wasn't positive about DTD. I know they are good at Disney-owned stores and restaurants but what about other places. Are they good at House of Blues, Ghirardelli's or other non-Disney-owned places. I seem to recall in the Pollo Campero review that they weren't taking Disney cards but I'm not sure about that.

The last I heard, the only places that don't take them are Jellyrolls, Rainforest Cafe, and the Richard Petty driving experience. And you are right about Pollo Campero- they weren't taking them yet when they first opened (they might be now).

Anyone with conflicting experiences will chime in, I'm sure- the above places are listed in the fine print of the Disney Gift Card page Terms And Conditions- http://www.disneygiftcard.com/terms/

We recently went to Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney on December 17th and we were able to use our Disney Gift cards. Don't know about the other places at DTD thought.

I remember a time when some restaurants at Epcot did not accept them. I am not sure if that is the case still though. I have yet to have a problem.

The Swan and Dolphin doesn't accept them, or at least that's what a CM said to me on the phone when I called the last time.
