Anywhere for Pineapple Burger?

Hi!

I have never been to Disney World before, but my husband has, about 10 years ago. He said that he had this hamburger with pineapple on it that he swears was the best thing in the world.

Does anyone know where they have pineapple hamburgers in the Magic Kingdom? I know it has to have been the Magic Kingdom, they didn't go to any other parks when the went 10 years ago.

No idea, but sounds like something they would serve at the Polynesian.....the main "burger places" at MK are Pecos Bills and Cosmic Rays.....ate at both last month and don't recall seeing that on the fixin bar or the menu....sorry!

I guess he will have to live without pineapple on his hamburger. He still raves about how great it was and how when they got home they tried to make it and it wasn't the same.

I believe that was served at counter service in Adventure Land but am not sure exactly where. Nevertheless, I also seem to remember that it was discontinued a LONG time ago!

DH is a pineapple freak (we have hundresd growing in our yard) and we can't recall one on a burger there....

but I do recommend the pineapple and caramel sauce for dipping at Ohana....it is to die for!

The Red Robin restaurant chain has a Banzai Burger (it has pineapple on it.....very good!)

That's too bad that WDW no longer has one.

I'm sure he meant the Adventureland Veranda sponsored by Kikkoman which is long closed. I used to eat their all the time. They had the best Pineapple Burgers and Teriyaki Chicken sandwiches.

Maybe the Poly. I haven't been there yet, but will go soon.

The burger with the pineapple on it was my dad's favorite when we went when I was a kid! I think it was called the terryaki burger and it was definitely sold in Adventureland. He was back at MK last fall with us for the first time in 15 years and was so dissapointed that they didn't have it anymore. Luckily, the other family favorite, Citrus Swirls, we still around!

It's the only time on allearsnet.com, that I'm aware of that lists pineapple on a burger. Knowing Disney, wanting to go the extra mile for their guests, at any restaurant, let them know what you'd like and it'll turn out better than you had expected!
