Is there anything you would of changed about your most recent trip (i.e. - order you did things - what you did/didn't pack - where you ate - anything at all. If you could of changed one thing about your trip (other than the lines that you had to stand in) what would you of changed?

I would have NOT stayed off site

Hi
I was there 12/10 to 12/15 and I should've taken a break from going non-stop from park to park. My legs, not feet (I was wearing the new Mickey crocs) were killing me. I think I had shin splints or whatever it's called when the front of your lower leg hurts. I could barely walk. Also, we did the Segway tour, which was so much fun, but I should've scheduled it in the beginning of our stay and not at the end. My legs were felt great at the beginning of our trip, so next time I'm taking more breaks and doing the things I really want to do first.

last trip was thanksgiving and I would have brought a heavy jacket (we had to go buy some as we froze!!!)

I would have planned more time at DTD as we LOVED the kids dance party!

I would have left DH at home! :lmao: He's all about "go! go! go!" and never willing to stop and watch the parade or street performers or characters.

Oh, but wait! I AM leaving the DH at home when I go with a friend in April!!!:woohoo: :cool1: :yay:  :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I would have booked our flight for either Sat or Sun morning instead of Monday morning, we hit so much traffic we almost missed our plane. We were on the free dining for 5 nites it was'nt enough we should have stayed another night or two we only would've had to pay for the hotel.

We last went in October and had tickets to MNSSHP one evening. We scheduled time in MK during the day, left briefly to eat dinner, then returned to MK for the party. I really feel this was a mistake. I think we should have done something different during the day and gone to MNSSHP that night. It felt like too much MK being there all day and all night. I think we may not have appreciated all the changes MK undergoes for MSNNHP. By midnight I was so done with MK.

I would not go for thanksgiving, lines were miles long, fast pass gone by noon. Weather very cold but that could be different each year.

Allow extra time (which I thought I had) for before the flight. We missed ours, added on a connect flight and about 12 hours onto our travel time which should have been 2.

Everything else was great!

Would have booked dinner at Prime Time Cafe instead of Sci Fi. Also, I had booked Hoop De Doo Revue at 9:30, was a little late and DD was tired, but she perked right up when the show started.:upsidedow

We were there Dec 10th - 17th. We went to Concourse Steakhouse. Nothing wrong...no complaints. It just wasn't the atmosphere I was looking for...too quiet for me! :teeth:

We are going to slow down this trip. I went on my first solo trip in Dec. and I wasn't feeling good. I didn't ride many rides but I did catch some great music and street performers. It was great! I'm taking the kids in June and although we will still be getting up very early to beat the heat, we will be slowing down the afternoon and evenings. the plan right now is to do every other day at the 4 main parks. We have never taken time to explore the hotel that we're staying at. This time we will be at Pop Century and we want to check it out. This will be our 8th trip.

I totally agree, we will definatley take more breaks on our trip this year!!!
Hoping to take a break each day mid way though our day and head back to the hotel for a couple hours and put our feet up either in the room or by the pool. I know I would never be able to convince the rest of the family to take a whole day of relaxing, they would like at me like I was nuts..lol, but I am hoping that even a couple hours, will re-energize all of us and we will be ready to venture back out for the evening!

I would stay in a preferred room at the all stars, I opted not to and our room was a HIKE every morning and late evenings,,,,our 4 yr old did it on her own power but whew, what a hike! Preffered room sites are ten dollars more per nite and are close to bus pool food court etc.........do it!!:headache:
