Dh, DD (6) and myself will be in Orlando (from the UK) the first two weeks in Feb 2005 :cheer2:
Now, I've ordered our WDW tickets and Universal passes but is there anything that we really shouldn't miss?
We've been lucky enough to visit Orlando before so don't want to spend all our time in the parks.
We have friends who live close by Universal studios so we'll be spending some time with them, and have arranged to drive to Clearwater for a few days in the middle of the holiday. We also have PSs booked for Epcot's Princess breakfast and Chef Mickeys. :Pinkbounc
Ideas, Disney or otherwise, would be great. Has anyone visited the Salvadore Dali museum? What about any of the dinner shows? :cloud9:
Thanks.

I can't help with non-park things to do, but will give my short list of things in the parks to make sure you do.

In MK make sure you go to Philharmagic, at Animal Kingdom go to Festival of the Lion King, at Epcot do not miss Turtle Talk in the Living Seas in Future World, and at Universal Studios go to the Horror Make-Up Show (my 5yo son has been several times and is not scared at all by the show--and he is very often in the show in a minor way--you know your DD as to whether or not she'll be scared). Obviously there are plenty of other things you'll see, but these things are worthwhile and some are easily missed.

We once did a comedy dinner show at Wonderworks that was really funny, very family oriented.

As for the parks there are several tours you can take if you are looking for something a bit different. Also how about the possibility of Cirque?? Another incredible evening out.

Thanks for that.
I never even knew that wonderWorks had a dinner show! I put in a search and printed off some money off coupons too ;-)
I was wondering about the Arabian Nights show - any advice?
I'd love to go to Cirque but have to admit that the price puts me off somewhat :-)
