We have a trip planned xmas week I know it will be crazy busy but does disney do anything special on Christmas eve or Christmas day? What would be a good place for dinner

About a week before Christmas, Thr Christmas parade and Holliday parade replace the typical daytime parade and Wishes at MK (so you don't need to buy special party tickets)
On Christmas Day, a lot of QS locations add a turkey meal

I rather enjoyed that most CM's wished is a merry Christmas.

Characters have meet and greets at the resorts through Christmas Eve.

Most TS restaurants and buffets offer a special holiday meal on Thanksgiving and Christmas Days, featuring either a traditional turkey dinner or ham. Some of them put a spin on the turkey dinner to match their theme; e.g., Artists's Point at WL usually includes sage dressing and a wild greens salad; I think the one at PO puts andouille sausage in the dressing, etc. Dinner ADR's book up very early for T'Giving and Xmas.

You'll get some great suggestions on eateries, but whatever it is, be sure you are poised to book it at the 180 day mark (which will be next month.) Even if you don't get your first choice, book something such that you aren't locked out of a place to dine on Christmas Eve/Day.

Epcot has the "Candlelight Processional" & every country has some sort of Christmas themed thing going on. Liberty Tree Tavern in MK would be good for Christmas dinner.

You may want to ask this over on the Restaurant Board. There are experts there who can advise you based on your family or group makeup.

We have been to Disney twice for Christmas. One year for Christmas Eve we ate at Artist's Point early and then did the Wishes dessert party to watch Christmas wishes. The next day we had dinner at California Grille. Wilderness Lodge is stunning at Christmas! The next time we went at Christmas we ate on Christmas Eve at Narcoossee's, which my entire family loved. Christmas Day we ate at Jiko because the Animal Kingdom Christmas decorations are also gorgeous. We avoided parks on Christmas Day and just relaxed at the resort. We also went mini golfing at Winter Summerland, which has a fun Christmas theme. Hope that helps!

There were Santa and Rudolph divers at the Living Seas aquarium on Christmas Eve last year. It was a fun surprise!

I almost forgot our third trip. We had dinner at Le Cellier and went to the Candlelight Processional Christmas Eve. Absolutely one of the best things we have ever done at Disney. Edward James Olmos was the narrator and the whole event was incredibly moving and beautiful. I am not prone to being very emotional and I was brought to tears. Really can't say enough about this!

Candlelight Processional is a GREAT idea for Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. We ate at MBYBBQ for Christmas dinner. We wanted to leave the parks, but have a Holiday experience. Characters dressed in Christmas attire with Santa Goofy. If interested - wine was available too. Other places have Holiday Christmas dinners -- google Disney Christmas Dinners 2015, typically don't change year to year. The deluxe resorts are beautifully decorated for the holidays. Santa is there through December 22nd @ MK and Contemporary.
