Yes. The parks experience the lightest crowds of any holiday weekend all year.

Other than that, there is an MNSSHP scheduled to start that weekend, but that has nothing to do with LDW.

They have the Halloween Party Scheduled for Sept 1st and 9th. They also have Night Of Joy on that weekend https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/magic-kingdom/night-of-joy/

I cant believe they start the Halloween parties that early, they didnt use to when we use to go that week.

MK also stays open until 2am Saturday and Sunday nights (or Sunday and Monday morning, depending on how you look at it!) Great chance to ride without the oppressive heat and no lines! Best time of the year to visit IMHO
