Depending on what your child likes: there is the Mitsukoshi Department Store in Japan that has a lot of Hello Kitty and Pokemon toys; the acrobats in China (relatively short show); and the model train village in Germany.

Check the character meet & greet schedule, my kids loved meeting them in the countries - Belle in France, Jasmine in Morocco etc....
They also enjoyed the kidcot stations, and the live entertainment!

Some great tips have been posted so I won't reiterate them here! My daughter is almost 4 and loves the world showcase. Try to take your time and let your little one do some of the exploring. Super fun experience!

Kidcot is also fun for kids.

We're world showcase people in general (I know we're strange). We like that we can take our time meandering through the shops and the character lines are sometimes much more manageable than in MK.

There's various street entertainment as well: mariachi bands in Mexico come to mind.

The pathways are nice and wide, so it takes a lot to feel crowded.
