Anything good in Innoventions?

We've skipped this for YEARS. Anything worth our time in there these days???

Thanks!

My personal opinion, no. The last time we went into Innoventions was during a major storm. It sort of makes me feel like I am wasting otherwise good Epcot time. I'm sure there are neat things in there, but it doesn't anything for us.

I myself like the home theater and Segway demonstrations. During bad weather, I like to play a few of the video games (although everyone else in the park seems to have that idea, too, so I never get the chance!) Other than that, Innoventions doesn't appeal that much to me anymore. It seems to be nothing more than advertising for new products. Most of it is not very "innovative" at all. I agree that this seems to be wasted space...surely Disney can come up with something better.

Innoventions used to be Communicore East and West. Anyone remember that???!!

I used to love it 7 or 8 years ago.
I went in last fall and did not like it at all.
I assume it has not changed in the last 10 months so I say wasted space.

When my parents took me as a kid (right when EPCOT first opened) I loved this area...I guess Communicore. They had this big display with lots of colors and many moving parts (maybe supposed to be camera film?). Well, obviously, the detailed memory is lacking. But they also had lots of fun stuff to play with. Anyone remember the "Smart One" robot that you could talk to through the phone? This was one of my favorite things in Epcot! Anyway, Ithe last 3 times I have been to WDW, I have not liked Innoventions. Maybe I'm just older or maybe it's harder to showcase new innoventions these days? Actually, the only reason that I actually went into the Innoventions buildings during the last 2 trips was because the person I was with wanted to check it out. Both times, I was relieved when we did not end up spending much time there. I do wonder why this attraction used to be so good and is now.....not so good.

Well, since we don't have video games at home, my kids have enjoyed that part (the bldg to the right after SE). I also enjoyed the home of tomorrow (or whatever it's called) in the bldg. on the left. I wouldn't wait in line for long, but I wouldn't say it's a total waste of time. It's a bit difficult to stay on the leading edge of technology all of the time. There are issues with that for the companies involved.
