Anything good at Sci-Fi?

I made the mistake of ordering a pasta dish with shrimp and spinach. I still have nightmares about it. :sad1:

I agree about the loop. You would think they could find new footage by now.

I love the burgers, shakes, fries and onion rings. You're on your own if you order anything else.

We prefer lunch over dinner. It is a nice cool break at that time of day.

As most people always say, stick with the basics, burgers/fries/onion rings. They're great, almost gourmet quality. I remember their burgers being as good as Red Robin, if you like that. If you don't like their burgers and fries, I'm not sure who's burgers and fries you would like, so yeah stick to the basics and you'll have a great meal and show :thumbsup2

We go every trip and always have had good service. We also love the burgers and the onion rings are GREAT!

We had a great lunch there in March, we had a reuben, burger and onion rings and it was all yummy

We (4 adults) ate dinner there in March (just 8 weeks ago) and found the food and the service wonderful. I can't remember what we had but I know that it was great. I want to go back in Sept.

Last time I ate there I had the ribs and they were good. You can't ever go wrong with their milkshake, it was delicious!! :thumbsup2

We love it there and go on every trip, my Sis loves the penne pasta and my DD had the macaroni and had some shrimps added, very good, I had the chicken burger.

The food wasn't great when we were there but it wasn't bad by any means. The more involved options are a bit more hit-or-miss; DH's ribs were a little on the tough side, the spinach & artichoke dip was just okay, and the kids' pizza was disappointing. But the onion rings are really good, the burgers are okay, and the milkshakes are wonderful. It isn't some place we go on every trip, but it is certainly worth doing once to check out the atmosphere.

Just a suggestion... the kids in our group loved Sci-Fi; adults not so much. What if you were to "fill up" on something somewhere else (i.e. counter service) just prior to your reservation... then just sit back, relax, enjoy the atmosphere and just order dessert?

If I could do it again, that's what I'd do.

This looks GREAT!!!! However, when I had it, it was terrible!!! I LOVE shrimp and pasta and this is probably the first time in my life I have had pasta that was not edible. YUCK~~~~~~~~~~

We were there a few weeks ago for lunch but since we had dinner ressies at Mama Melrose we just ate appetizers. My BF got the 7 bean chili and I got the spinach artichoke dip and both were really good! we also got a oreo cookie shake and it was delishhhh. Sci-Fi was also the only place that then gave us a free ice cream sundae for dessert for our anniversary after we declined dessert. I would recommend Sci-Fi but probably more for lunch than dinner.

Great Idea in theory, but the CS at HS ranges from awful to average, you aren't really making any improvement except on price.

Stick with the basics there and I don't think it will be bad. This is not the place to start "adventure dining".

My question is about Sci-Fi but not about the food. We are a family of 3 and I notice that the cars only seat 2 to a row. So I'm figuring we would be seated 2 on one row and 1 on another. Does that mean that we could have someone else sitting next to us on the 2nd row?

No, we have never been packed like sardines like that.
