I'm getting ready to book a last minute trip to DL and I noticed that on that Sunday they are open to 11 and Monday til 10. They usually don't stay open late unless they are expecting crowds!
So does anyone know if there is anything going on?

I believe that is Lincoln's birthday and some of the local schools are out. I'm hoping it's not too terribly crowded since I'll be there that day. :)

Our schools are out the next monday for the holiday. We actually are out the friday and monday of the next week. According to DL website, AP holders are blocked that next weekend after we go.
Cool.....we'll be there at the same time! Woo Hoo! Here we come!

We are there 10th -18. Need to make up our lime green DIS identifier tonight.

We're local and my kids are out of school for both Monday 2/11 and 2/18.

2/11 should be crowded with locals. I know at least 1/2 of my kids school are AP holders and this is a popular day for them to go. I know in the past when we've gone my kids have seen several of their classmates in the park.

Us too. We'll still go on 2/10 and 2/11 because it will be both me and DD's birthdays!!!!!!!!! I love that our birthdays are when it's Lincoln's Birthday and no school :woohoo:

Not much better than spending your birthday with the Mouse!

We will be there for our birthdays on that same weekend! Hope crowds are not to bad.

Hoping it's not too crowded! We are driving out on the 10th, and hope to get some time in that night, as well as the 11th and 12th. It'll be my daughter's first trip to Disneyland, and her 5th birthday, so I'm hoping it will be pure magic for her - we just saw the Disney Princess Wishes on Ice last week, and if her reaction to that is any indication, she's going to flip at Disney! princess: She was yelling to Ariel as we walked out "SEE YOU FOR DINNER NEXT WEEK!". I can't wait!
