anything cool about Riverside's pool?

We are planning to go to CBR but my mom and dad (vacationing with us) really want to a resort on the river. We've been to French Quarter so we don't want to stay there (but we LOVED it--just like trying new things). We have 2 kids DD4, DS11 who want a good pool. That's why we picked CBR. The pics of the pool at Riverside just look boring and bland. Am I missing something about the pool that makes it cool? I see nothing in pics to make me feel like its a good one. Is there a kiddy pool?

I would love to stay at Riverside too--except for the pool situation. CBR looks neat but HUGE!!!!! we'd like like connecting rooms but my parents are not gonna be willing to pay for a preferred room...I'd love a smaller resort! but the pool at CBR seems so much better for kids... Help!

We love the pool at POR. The slide was great and we really like the theme there. But I've never stayed at CBR so I can't compare, but we stayed at WL and liked the POR pool better.

Both POR and CBR are very big resorts. Both are very beautiful and wonderful though! Our 2 favorites actually! But yes, CBR's pools are much better. CBR is situated around a lake in the center, would that intrigue your parents? Or does it have to be a river? Either way, both resorts are great and I'm sure you will have a great time. POR's pool is nice. It has some water squirting in places and a nice slide. The children's pool is just a pool though, not a play area or anything like that.

We loved the pool, Great slide, Cool water features, the Bar overlooks the pool area.... The entire Ol` Mans Island has a great feel to it.
