My Dad (85 in July) recently got his medals from the war and is getting them professionally framed. That got him interested in his military past and he and my Mom have been going through all the old pictures and articles and such. Today I went to Michaels and found him one of those beautiful U.S. Army scrapbooks with the raised seal and gave it to him as an early Father's Day present. While they are on a roll I would like to get working on it with him. But I would like to find year and military appropriate papers and embellishments. I know they are out there and would like to know if anyone knows where... ??

Thanks for any help! :)

target actually has a bunch of stuff that might work for you since they have revamped the scrap section. Most lss now carry military papers too. good luck. maggie

I saw some great paper when I went to the CK Convention in Nashville back in March but can't remember who made the paper. Go to www.scrapbookoutlet.net and see what they have. You might also try going on a search for The Crop Shop in Franklin, TN or Chattanooga, TN. I KNOW I saw some paper at these stores when I went a few months ago. Check 'em out and see!!
Good luck!!

I was going to say Target, too. They have a bunch for a good price.

There is TONS of military stuff. And, don't forget the particular service's own website, where you can download pictures of medals and ribbons and may even find information on places where he was posted!

i just was at the Scrap Your Trip site and they have a ton of stuff.

I just finished a book for my DH. I picked up paper and stickers at most places that carries scrapbook stuff. I found things at JoAnns and CM that I used the most. Good Luck In your search.
