Anyones waitlist come thru less than 30 days?

We just decided we would like to stay at the BWV instead of WLV.
As we expected they have no availability the days we are looking for. Has anyone put in a request for a 1 bedroom less than 30 days and have it come thru? We have never stayed at WL and now were thinking we should stick to what we know. Thanks in advance.

Last June, we were on the wait list for a BW view 1 BR & got it 3 days before we were supposed to check-in. I did call day by day during that last week, but yes, waitlists do come through

yes for March I changed from OKW to BWV in 40 days. got several of them - not the whole things - but considering I was asking for standard view. I think I was lucky to receive anything.

My waitlist for NYE - Jan4 came through less than 30 days out which is why I am sitting on 33 points in holding. I was changing from 2BR to studio and while it saved points I now need to plan a quick trip or try to rent them before Aug within the guidelines for holding points.
