Anyone's gas prices below $3 yet?

I just finished mapping out the best gas prices for my 400 mile trip from Phoenix, Az into Santa Carita, Ca. And found the best of my trip will be about 10 miles from home at $3.53. The best on my route in Ca. will be about $3.73. I didn't list any "club" prices or Arco, as they may be less but Arco charges to use my card.

A couple of years ago I was trying to fill up my sister's car in CA and I had a heck of a time--first arco where they wanted to charge me for using my card, then one that wouldn't take it becaause my zip code was "out of area" It was just crazy. So, I can relate.

Today gas is down a bit but not even to where it was earlier in the week. On Weds it was $3.55 and then on Thursday it was $3.79. Today it's down to $3.66. We live in an area that a lot of people drive through to get to the lakes area of MN so it does always tend to go up on Thursdays during the summer. I had forgotten that so of course forgot to fill up on Weds.

$3.49 to $3.55 here in Indiana.
It was $3.46 at at Costco today, but everywhere else is a bit more.

$4.11 and up around Fairbanks (Alaska) ... probably closer to $4 in Anchorage by now.

Dh paid $3.52 today outside of Raleigh. A couple weeks ago I paid $3.38 but it went back up (new station gas war). My fil says gas near him 1hr outside of Raleigh is $3.39.

It's $3.60 here in Oklahoma. I'll be happy with gas in the $3.25 range.

It's in the $3.40's in the St. Louis area -- having a ExxonMobil Speedpass dscount of 15 cents per gallon helps take some of the sting out of it...

Best I can recall, Arco does not accept credit cards at all -- they only accept debit cards (with a PIN), their "PumpPass" gift card, and, of course, cash...

That's how they keep their costs low in the crazy CA gas market.

It's dropping slowly but steadily here (SE PA). We were at $3.99 at the beginning of the year and one of my favorite stations is now down to $3.57. I hope they keep on dropping.

We just broke $4.00 in Chicago. Paid $3.99 a gallon last night.
