Anyone write on their car when driving to WDW?

As I make the long drive I wonder how many out of state plates are traveling to WDW. All the cars I pass, see at rest areas, etc. I always wanted to put something on my vehicle stating where I was going- WDW or bust, WDW and busted, Follow me to WDW, whatever. If you paint your car what do you put on it?

This will be our first year driving and thouht i would put on "disOrBust" but then I though I am just asking for someone to break into our van.

We always put on those CLING on peel off decals (that you can use on walls).
I put a BIG MICKEY head on the front of the VAN and two smaller ones on the front doors..we also have our MICKEY antenna topper.....in Dec we have our MICKEY SANTA hat antenna topper, and we have a wreath I made in the shape of MICKEY ears and DH added lights to..I THINK people get the message LOLOL..

I don't advertise being a true New Yorker I thought maybe someone would think we had alot of cash on us and try and mug us at a rest stop. Sorry! I know I'm paranoid!!

My spouse does not want me to write on our car either. Afraid also. When people see your out of state plates and car full of stuff, storage on the roof, sandals with dark socks (lol) ,etc. they know you are on vacation anyway. When you turn South on I75 it seems that about 1/2 the cars are out of state plates, especially during summer. Just wondering.

I figure being in a van with 7 people, loads of luggage will be advertisment enough. But yes I do decorate the van. I use the static cling vinyls --

I have also made a poster before (that was when we drove to California) -- I am sure the Illinois plates out West were clue enough that we were tourists.

I just don't get paranoid about that stuff - I think mostly being in rest stops, gas stations off exits indicate you are a traveler anyway. I just prefer to be safe there in using the buddy system on those stops, counting to make sure everyone is back in the car etc.

I guess us Chicagoans are as paranoid as New Yorkers...I too would be afraid to advertise, due to fear of crime!
But since we always fly instead of drive, I advertise by wearing my pin lanyard! On a flight to Orlando, there are always plenty of people heading to Disney, too, and you can get into some great conversations. On one memorable trip, hubby and I were in a three-seat row with a woman who was travelling with her hubby and kids. They were in the row across the aisle...hubby was knocked out from the several drinks he had to calm his nerves about flying, and the kiddos were knocked out from sinus medication. They were heading for a Disney cruise, as we were too, so she bonded with us and we had a great chat while her family slumbered peacedully.

I don't think I would ANNOUNCE I was on vacation. It screams "I'm not from around here, I have vacation money, I'm not paying close attention, ROB ME!!! I'm one of the paranoid ones, I guess. When traveling, we like to try to blend in with the rest, not stand out as "tourists." The license plate could give it away, but it's not as screaming loud as a big sign or bumper sticker!

I usually put a WDW front license plate on the car before we leave home.
