Ok, so I lasted for 3 hours and 45 minutes (first day of orientation - on Friday) and knew when I came home that it was not the job for me. Possibility of lots of hours, evenings and weekends. I just couldn't do it. I went in on Saturday (the next day) and turned in my ID.
But, it was a GREAT decision for me, because I got a 4 hour day job, 10a - 2p, for the school district!! I am so excited, and not the least bit nervous. Perfect hours, perfect days, and a super opportunity for me! I will be working at the high school, in the kitchen. Official title is dishwasher, but I will be doing lots of different things, including dishes and prep.
Just wanted to update.
