Anyone work at Curves?

Looking for some insight before I make a jerk out of myself.

I signed up at a Curves closer to home (just a week ago) but am finding I should have joined the one closer to work. How can I switch? Can I switch?

I think she said something about a 30-day period to cancel when I joined.

I don't work there, but I believe they are independently owned and operated, so it depends on your owner. If you're lucky, the same person might own both and let you just switch. If not, you might have to cancel and re-sign up at the other one.

I don't work at one but I have switched locations and they weren't owned by the same person. You can go into the new location and ask them to transfer your membership to there or you can go to the place you originally signed up and ask to be transferred.

Or you can ask for a travel pass (if they still do those) so you can check out the new location. With the travel pass you would have to go back every 30 days to get a new one.

I went to the new location that is closer to my home and asked them to transfer me. I was afraid to go to the place I signed up with and tell them I was leaving there after 2 years. Now I just have to find time to go. I transferred back in October after 2 years at the other place and haven't been yet.

That's a good idea, I feel terrible but I did use the travel pass just yesterday at the new location and was like wow, that's much easier for me. Maybe I'll call them and see what they say.....
