Hiya, we have booked for DLRP for next mth (the excitement is getting too much :dance3: )
We have also paid for the standard half board meal plan up front but i'm a novice to all this and Im just wondering if any of you fab people have any good tips, i.e where to eat, what to expect? I think i paid 157 euro for 3 nights 4 days.

Thankyou :thumbsup2

Hi i've only used the meal vouchers once but found that the best places to eat were the buffets, the choice generally is really good especailly if you've got children with you. have a fantastic time xx

We had the half board plus last time we went and only did the buffets as you get so much choice plus a drink too. Great for kids as if they like one thing then they can have as much as they want. We used them in the Hotel Newyork twice, the Cafe Mickey, and the Sante Fe (I think).

Thankyou for your replies! Im guessing that we have made the right choice in paying for meals up front. ;D x

Its personal preference, gone are the days where the Half board used to be good value. Now they are better if you want to pay up front to budget. Buffets seem to get the best out of them, here is a link to where you can use what type of voucher where. Some are set menu's or they can be used at face value & pay the rest after the meal

our half board plus meals were a part of the package we got from our travel agent, although there is debate as to whether it is better to pay up front or not, we found it easier as it meant we didnt have to put euros aside to make sure we all ate properly,

the best places we found were:

Annettes diner (disney village) as you can exchange the vouchers for a set menu

restaurant des stars (disney studios) great buffet, possibly the best one we found all week

we found the best time to eat is during the parade in the main park as most of the restaurants are quiet at that time (4:30ish)

Enjoy your visit am exicted for you and have a very long 8 month wait until we can go back
