Anyone with Chiari? Neck or back problems?

I have scoliosis and 2 "slipped" discs, and am 40 something 5'1" and 118 pounds.

I found I could ride anything Disney IF I wedged myself in the seat. I brace my feet on the floor on on the low part of the seat in front of me, and if there is a head rest, I plant my neck against it, and use the lap bar to hold myself in place. It isn't as forced as it sounds--more just firm.

Dino and Space Mountain are the only rides that gave me problems. They are so jerky that I couldn't maintain my "wedgie!" If I were larger, I probably could--and not that I'm skinny, but in seats that can and do accomodate Pooh sized people, I can get thrown around a bit.

Disney Enthusiast,

I'm sorry that I haven't gotten back to you. My computer has been down and just got it fixed. I will get back to you asap.

My daughter is 23, so you know what she is up against. It sounds like you have tried a few things. What did not bother you (that a 23 year old would want to do)? Have you tried Tower of Terror or Splash? How about the less intense Mission to Space? Kali or the Safari? Details please. Thanks!
They are planning a trip to Disneyland next summer, so she will be 1 year post-op. (We are the ones planning on DW this spring, so I am using this forum for ride feedback since this is the board I frequent.) I know that Dinosaur & Indiana Jones are different, but figure they are close enough. The majority of the rides are the same (or close).

Since this has been bumped up, I was wondering how the op's daughter's trip went? What rides did she do?

I ended up having a neck fusion since this was first posted. After that, my neurosurgeon told me not to ride TOT. Last summer I did ride Splash, Kali, the Safari and Mission Space green. Before the neck fusion, I had ridden Indiana Jones at DL, but did limit it to one time!
