Ours is being installed tomorrow! We were planning on putting it in earlier this summer, but one thing led to another, then Katrina came along and we didn't manage to get it done.
3 of our neighbors have them and they are really satisfied with them. We cannot do a totally in ground pool because we already have underground electrical and water lines in the backyard, but ours will be partially in ground. Only about 2 ft. though.
We got a pretty good deal with it being end of season and we only have to wait til about March to really go swimming.
Growing up we had an in ground pool and I would love to be able to do that again...but we just can't. We are going to deck about halfway around ours and connect it to our back porch (which is pretty high off the ground) so everything should tie in nicely.
We are planning on adding a hot tub later, but it will be in our screened porch. We are having to do a major home renovation and landscape redo because of hurricane damage. Things are going along well, but we're doing one project at a time. Of course, we've had over 90 degree days until they put the pool in!
