I'd really LOVE to see everyone's playlists for music for the 1/2 marathon or marathon. It is time for me to weed out my slower stuff and put together a very upbeat playlist.
This was quoted in the thread Running with music. It was quoted from the Wk of Feb 17th--WISH Walking/Running Club. I thought the link to the Running with Music thread had some interesting information to consider so I linked that too.postesf said:Judy hope you feel better soon!!
Anybody into Podrunners? or the mixes that do beats per minute? I was searching for one thing, and came across this site http://djsteveboy.com/aboutpr.html It has some good mixes I thought, a good FAQ about downloading (which I needed) as well as a program mix called First Day to 5K - which sounded interesting!! Thought I'd share!!
I use some I got from workoutmusic.com and powermusic.com They have so many beats per minute--I think mine have around 135. I do find it helps me to stay on pace a bit better... I wish I had my ipod when I was doing C25K. They have pocasts for each week that tells you when to walk and when to run... DH was w/ me with a stop watch!![]()
I'll have to check out that site...Always looking for something new! Thanks!
Stacie
I don't have set playlists...everything's just on the MP3 player. Some things I've liked for training:

Footloose by Kenny Loggins

Home by Marc Broussard
