Now I love all of those "I love . . . " shows but I was watching the 1982 last night and they totally dissed Epcot! How dare they?!?!?!?!? Epcot is my favorite park! I'm deciding whether I should boycott or not - well I know I won't because I find the show too funny.

Anyone else watching? They crack me up and have a lot of new people I like

I saw the last half of 1985!!! I am a poster child for the song "she's still preoccupied with 1985" I am a child of the 80's and boy do I miss that time! If I knew then what I know now things would be different.

tonight is 1986 and 1987... can't wait!

I missed 82 and fell asleep halfway through 83. But I agree, they are hilarious.

I let out a quite loud "That's Just Wrong!"

This is the third time VH1 has revisited the 80's. It seems like they're stretching things a bit - I don't even remember half the stuff they're talking about and I'm a true 80's girl! Maybe they used up all the good stuff in the first two? :confused3

One of the people last night made a joke about that...................now they are on the third round and pulling up crap that nobody remembers because it was so bad.

I love the show anyways, been annoying DH by watching it every night.

I saw the last half of 1985 last night, too, and I love these shows! They may be dragging them on and on, but I remember most everything and I love how they make fun of all of it! I loved growing up in the 80's and love looking back on them! I'm ready for I love the 80's 4, if they want to make it! :)

I only saw Lance Bass bashing Epcot who was in a boy band so his opinion doesn't count anyway ;)

Wil Wheaton is funny and he is truthful as it's really a geek's favorite playground.

I grew up in the 80's and DO remember most of the stuff they're talking about!

I love this show LOL. I liked when they were talking about the fruit flies and saying how the poison they sprayed for them was supposed to be ok if it got on your skin, but were warned to protect your car since it would eat the paint and erode the steel LOL.

I'm so devoted to all of these!!! I wish they'd come out on DVD - I'd buy every one of them. I remember almost all of the stuff - how sad is that????

i know, i was likt EPCOT IS MY FAVORITE!! no, seriously, i was.

I almost fell on the floor when I saw the one with the Monchichi, I forgot all about them. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I saw Monchichi's for sale in Japan/Epcot. They are making a comeback. So I came home and looked around... found mine in my bombay chest in the dining room. He's missing his banana and the hand that was holding it. Other than that, good as new! This one isn't mine, he has both of his hands. But he looks similar.

well you've got to remember when EPCOT Center opened it wasn't exactly the most popular park...it was much different than it is now..Epcot is now my 2nd favorite park (I prefer the MK...sentimental value I guess). But it was a tad odd back in th 80s

Cheers,
Jungle Josh

It's not as good as the first 2 series. I thoght the Epcot jokes were funny.
I didn't go there in 1982, but I know they didn't have as much as thery do now.

When i watched it the other night, i was soooo mad that they dissed epcot! and i was even more mad at Lance Bass for dissing it!

I watched those, & although not as funny as the last two, were still great. They had a few of the cartoons that I love - Voltron & Snorks. Plus that song "I died in your arms", I was singing along. :teeth:

I think this one is just as good as the other two. I remember so much of this stuff! I especially love seeing stuff that I'd forgotten about...like the gloves that magic pictures appeared on when you got out in the cold? I think I was trying to repress that memory!!

I keep waiting for my Nike Bruins with the fat rainbow hearts laces and pin stripe jeans to come back again. And DH can't wait to wear another mesh half shirt. :scared:

What were we thinking????
