Anyone watching Surface??

It's okay, I'm still watching but it's getting a little less interesting each week.
The "pet" story may be lame but that little guy (Nim) is so cute. Invasion and Threshold's story lines are far superior to this point, IMO.

Well, it's a bit silly and totally implausible, but Lake Bell is hot and I like dinosaurs so I suppose I'll stick with it

I like it and Nim is there for a reason. I think he is there to soften the image of these creatures and make us care a bit about them, so then later it will pull on our heartstrings.

I'm getting hooked on this show too, but it makes me nervous when it starts to fall in the ratings. Anyone remember Dead Like Me or LAX? I think I'll continue to watch for now and keep my fingers crossed it sticks around.

I watched it the first two weeks, and had a little bit of trouble getting into it, but decided to give it another chance Monday, and decided that it is really getting better, and I think that I am really starting to like it.

The storyline with the kids is really grating. The cute creature is so totally off-putting... with all the havoc it has already created, that critter would have surely drawn blood by now.

It isn't real ya know. Sorry, I guess I am just a girly-girl who likes cute pets. LOL I told DH that Nim reminds me of the movie Gremilins.

I like it, which means it will surely get cancelled. LAX is a good example. I loved that show, thought it was great, recorded it weekly, then it's cancelled.

I watched it a couple weeks now and I have to tell ya, these kids are making my head hurt. And the parents --can they be so clueless?

and what kind of "scientist" takes her kid into a swamp in the middle of the night to search for anything?

I'm just not feeling sympathy for any of the characters. Except for that one guy's wife, the one who thinks her husband has gone a leetle wacko.

I like it but I don't have hopes it will be around. It seems they are moving the story line along so they can answer questions (like why is it in the lava) before it's canned. They could make it a mini-series. I think the pet story line ended when it blew up the pool house.

Nope, the parents thought it was lightening. Nim was found later in the dryer. He's still around.

I love this show! I was so happy to see Nim alive. I was really sad when he died (guess I'm a loser too, lol). Are you talking about the comment where she said "this was manufactured?" or something like that? I figured the govt. coverup had to be something like that.
