I can barely stand to look at Ben though. I'd love to attack him with scissors while he's sleeping. That hair! It's awful, can't see how he looks in the mirror and thinks, "yeah, this is a good look for me."

Can't wait for the real drama to begin. I said out loud while watching the previews "I cannot believe I watch this crap!"

Thanks! We had an awesome time, except the crazies were out in full force! I was even thinking of doing a first-ever (for me anyway!) trip report because they were so entertaining!

Anyway, I watched the show last night, and came away with one major thought. The producers/editors are going to have to be VERY creative in order to keep this interesting. I have never in my life seen so many awkward silences as when Ben was talking to the women. It was embarrassing. Clearly he is not good at small talk or conversing in general, and apparantly neither are some of the women. At least some of the other bachelors could think of something to say to them to keep the conversation going. It was particularly bad when the women first got out of the limos. I was actually cringing!

Ben is a DUD.

Yup, the Michelle Money tactics will be out in full force this season. No doubt about THAT. I'm sure lots of the girls will suddenly become wine connoisseurs too...

Ben is dull, isn't he. Everytime he speaks to the girls it's like he's giving a business seminar. I'm sure he uses words that are too big for some of these girls to understand (or spell). Tonight should be fun. Oh and I agree with whoever said they can't stand his bangs. They drive me crazy! I want to leap through the tv and buzz his whole head.

The sad thing is that I am going to assume he thinks he is looking his best. You would think the stylists on the show would make him over.

I was just reading an interview with Ben in US magazine (or People - reading in the grocery store check out line). He said he was not happy with the choice of Ashley at first but grew to like her. You could tell he was ready to dis her. I'm sure there is no love lost between those two. She was the least popular Bachelorette ever I think, none of those guys seemed very happy with her. Although I guess the one she picked is since they are not getting married. I'll believe it when it actually happens.

My sisters watch The Bachelor too, together (they live in another city from me) and are calling Ben "The Seal". Apparently he was clapping his hands last episode so much that it reminded them of a seal. He seems to draw a lot of comparison to wildlife (chipmunk, monkey, seal).

Boring and unattractive as he is, I'll still be there. Same bat time, same bat channel.
