Anyone watch Veronica Mars?

Are you ready? This is going to be a bit long.

Actually, she wasn't date raped at all. Initially she was slipped the drug by someone who tried to set her up as an easy score for a guy who had never been with a girl before. However, he couldn't do it, just felt wrong. So he left her in the room by herself. That's when Duncan (ex-boyfriend/brother) walked in and saw her there. The two ended up spending the "night" together, and when he woke up and saw her there he freaked. He had already found out that he was her "brother" and lost it at the thought that he had just slept with his "sister. So he ran off leaving her there to wake up not knowing what had happened at all.

Just to finish that spoiler -- he actually wasn't her brother.

After seeing last night's show and her....encounter....with Duncan, I am not 100% sure that she even slept with him last year. She doesn't remember everything about that night and from the way they were talking, it sounded more like last night was her first.

Yes, it was the bus that went off the cliff. Looks like this will be this season's mystery. It's a really good show....but I couldn't help but think last year that they had Veronica looking like and acting like Chloe from Smallville.

OMG - I LOVE this show. DVDs come out next week of season 1, so if you want to rent them to catch up, there are some really great episodes in there.

I think they were making last night like her first since really it was the first time that she was truly aware of what was going on. So in a sense, it was her first time. I also think that the mayor is evil (hmmm, I seem to remember another little show with a blond lead girl in high school going up against the evil and corrupt that was on UPN and the WB) and that will play some part of the season as well.

Thanks everyone!! I really appreciate it. Did VM straighten out the doping athlete mystery yet, or is that good for a couple episodes, too? So we've got 1) Finding out who killed Felix, 2) Bus crash (was her blond friend on board), and 3) doping.
Did I miss any? I didn't get to see the 1st ep all the way through and had to be out last night and had to DVR Lost. I hate hard decisions like that.

Meg was on the bus, but miraculously, she was the only one who survived. She is currently in the hospital on life support. She was never shown, but it was stated that machines were breathing for her

V's father is going to run for sheriff (another story line for the season)

The bus driver did not commit suicide, but was going to leave his wife/kids for a neighbor

Veronica and Duncan had sex

Logan and the step-mom (Charisma) are having an affair/almost got caught (don't they always?). Dick's dad likes guns and is good with them(they had a little segment in a shooting range)

Wallace has a new love interest in a new girl from NY who is living with her dad - solved a little case involving her car getting hit in a parking lot

A man (a reporter) was found on the beach dead with Veronica Mars written on his hand

I think this was all the major plot lines.

the doping case was resolved - the athletes weren't really doped the parents of the second string of athletes paid off a lab guy to fake drug results for the first string of kids so their children could play. they got busted by the principal when Veronica pretended to be the drug guy and emailed them all to meet her at the restaurant she works and she sent the principal there.

BTW LOVE THAT SHOW!!!

Veronica Mars is moving from Wednesday night to Tuesday night. It has been shown on Wednesday with a rerun on the next Tuesday, but that'll change, with the new episode running on Tuesday, with a rerun on Wednesday, at least the first week.

Did I miss any? I didn't get to see the 1st ep all the way through and had to be out last night and had to DVR Lost. I hate hard decisions like that.

That's why I have two DVRS... 4 shows to record, and sometimes, on certain nights - I still have to choose (that's when DD wants someting on Disney Channel recorded!)

I like VM as well, need to get back into watching it - last one I saw was when the bus went over the cliff. My TV viewing has been off!
