Just wondering if anyone happened to watch it? My high school's marching band opened up the show. They're in Dublin, Ireland to perform in the St. Patrick's Day Parade and were one of four U.S. schools invited to go. When our band director was notified the Today Show was going to be out there, we contacted them to see if there was a chance they'd be at the parade. Instead, they had our band march out of the Dublin Castle [Name?] and then like thirty minutes later they performed real quick and had a short interview with our drum major, who I have a class with. It was pretty cool to see them out there with the sign that said "Edgewood Marching Mustangs" and Al Roker gave props to Ellettsville, Indiana, which is where I go to school.
But yeah, just wondering if anyone caught it...
Oh, and I forgot to mention that my step-sister's actually in the marching band. She's out there right now and was on tv, but it was hard to tell it's her. She was in the second row and is the shortest one, haha. My step-mom also went on the trip. You could hear my step-mom in the background laughing in the second session they filmed. They flew there last Friday and are touring Ireland until this Thursday. They're going around to different castles and historical sites. Today they visited the Heineken beer factory, lol.
