HOW? I've got many that are just plain flithy that need a bath desperatly but I'm not sure if I can throw them in the wash in a pillowcase or not? Will it hurt the clip (rust it???) or is there a better way to wash them??

They're hairbows. Throw them out and get a new ones.
If you feel you really need to save them then I'd try handwashing them in a sink full of Woolite. Dry the clip parts by hand so they don't rust. I think washing them might take the starchiness out of some of the fancier type bows.

Why do I keep reading, "anyone washed your dd's eyebrows?" :rotfl2:

I saw that too - and I was thinking "just her eyebrows"?? :lmao:

I agree - toss 'em and buy new ones.

I have never washed them, but I do spray all new ones with Scotchguard. It seems to really make a difference!!! At $10.00 per bow, I want them to last a while!!!

:rotfl: Glad I'm not the only one who saw that!

I might try to wash them--the worst thing that will happen is that it will ruin them and then you can throw them away. I would try the Woolite in the sink and then air dry them.

I also saw it like that . . .I though I was going insane! :lmao:

I was like . . .I don't understand why they're asking about washing eyebrows . . . :lmao:

GOOD GRIEF NO WAY! Can't afford to replace all those hairbows @ $8.00 a pop! If only I could keep them clean....

What the heck is she doing that gets ALL of her hairbows filthy? My dd had hairbows when she was little but I didn't put them in her hair when she played in the mud or sandbox.

Add me to the list who read it that way also!

Allright those of you who saw eyebrows, have you been spending time with Tigger&Belle lately. :rotfl:

To the OP, try hand washing them in Woolite or similar liquid detergent. Then place them on a clean, dry towel to dry. When they are dry, spray them with Scotchguard.

I agree, those things are too much to dump them! I just bought some Gymboree ones off of ebay, the corker ones & a couple reg bows. I put them in a lingerie bag and washed them on gentle w/ Woolite, then let them dry on their own. It worked fine, a couple of the regular bow ones I had to iron a bit to get to lie correctly.
