Anyone wanting to go to MNSSHP on 9/30??

After lurking around here for a long time, I'm finally registered! I just hope I don't become addicted! Unfortunately, my first post is not a happy one. After months of planning our trip in September, my father fell ill, and he and my mother will not be able to make the trip. That leaves us with two adult tickets for MNSSHP for 9/30. If anyone is interested in these tickets, please email me (they were purchased at the Passholder discount rate). We all had such a wonderful time last year at the party that we wanted to do it again this year. But it wasn't in the stars. Glad to be a part of the DIS!

Sorry to hear about your Dad. I know how it is. My Dad also just became sick as well and has been in the hospital for almost a week. He and my Mom were supposed to go to WDW with us on the 24th. Now they have to cancel so I know it's hard. Hope he feels better soon! Rebecca

Thank you to all who responded regarding the MNSSHP tickets. We just got terrible news this morning; my father has cancer of the esophagus. We immediately canceled our September family trip to WDW. I called the WDW Ticketing Center this morning and explained the circumstances to them to see whether I could get a refund for the six tickets I had for 9/30. They told me to send the tickets back with a letter explaining my request for a refund, along with my credit card information. The woman I spoke with said it would take about two weeks for a refund. I just wanted to pass this information along in case anyone is faced with a similar situation.
