Serious Melon Issue here....

My mother in law cut hers up...
left it in my cooler covered with saran wrap -

so how long will it last should I have thrown it away tonight -
or will it be ok tomorrow?

Me thinks so...not to mention the fact that the last time I checked, Froggy was not a DIS lady. Let me clarify...I have not checked, but his wife would verify that.

And for the record Dan, my DH would agree that I have a "sophomoric" sense of humor. I think he's a bit straight-laced, if you want to know the truth, but it could be the secret of our almost 24 year marriage.

I went to the produce stand yesterday and you would not believe all the large melons I saw there. I had no need for melons. I was there for some salad items, romaine lettuce, bell peppers, as well as cucumber, carrots, zucchini...

That reminds me--I need to plant my teeny garden plants today. I wish I liked zucchini, but don't so didn't buy a plant. I love fresh garden cucumbers! I've grown carrots, but they come out short and stumpy, so I gave up on them since they aren't worth the work. I have a yellow and green pepper plant, along with several tomato plants. And of course, a watermelon plant. Not that it produces, but it's fun to try.
