anyone want to talk about Christmas?

Binny, hush your mouth girl i have not accepted the fact that is Sept. yet?????? did i miss something:earseek: Derinda

We were just discussing Christmas yesterday. Trying to decide if we would put up a tree or not this year. With getting ready to move in the spring, I am not sure I want to mess with it! We didn't make a decision yet, though.

We will be celebrating Christmas in our new home!!! I can't wait.

We host Christmas Eve at my house. My family along with my FIL come over. There are 20 of us. We cook the traditional Italian Christmas eve!! Lobster, Baked Stuff Shrimp.........seafood..and yes, lasagna for the kids!!

In the morning we gather around the Christmas Tree and see what "Santa" has left......he did some shopping at WDW this summer!!! My FIL comes over to see the girls and late afternoon we visit MIL. Christmas dinner is very relaxing here!!

I can't wait!!! Santa has already begun his shopping and hopes to finish by the time we move into our new home (middle to end of Nov.) so that I can concentrate on unpacking!!!

I enjoy Christmas. DH and DDs put up the tree on Thanksgiving, as I prepare the food. It is so cute to watch them. The rest of the decorations go up the day after, if we are home.
#1 thing I do to help make Christmas enjoyable: Get my shopping 95% completed before Thanksgiving. Less pressure, I can enjoy the atmosphere without worrying about who I still need to buy for and I can easily remember the true reason I am celebrating...the Birth of my Saviour Jesus Christ.
