I will!!

I have a few...............

1. To be a better and more understanding Mom (DD #1 is a pre-teen!!!!!)

2. To take time to myself each day so that I can be a better and more understanding Mom............

FINALLY...........to lose that darn 20lbs!!!

Happy New Years Everyone!!

I have a few faults I want to change about myself that will make me a better person in general... and I think the faults I need to correct will help make other people happy too.

To be happier and healthier. :)

I have two, and they are both related to a BIG change I'm making in my life, for 2003.

January 15th is my last day working for the bank I currently work for. It took me about 2 years to make this decision and I just hope and pray I have made the right one for me and my family. I will still be working, but not full time, and not a corporate type job, so I should have a lot more flexibility.

So, my two resolutions are:

1. That I say no to ANY requests for me to volunteer my time, for at least a year. I will continue to do the things I'm already committed to, which is more than enough. But I could easily see myself taking on so much new volunteer stuff that I would be busier than I am now, only I would not be getting paid for the time. That would be dumb, really dumb, of me!

2. SOME of my freed up time will be spent on me, just me, to get some form of exercise each and every day. I've never been in such bad shape, and I'm really sick of it. My excuse has been lack of time, so now I'll have to see if it's just that, an excuse!

I'm hoping both of these resolutions will lead to a much less stressful me, and that will be good for my family as well!

Happy New Year to everyone.

I solemly vow to eat more, drink more, and spend more time on the DIS. . .

No sense in setting myself up for failure after all. . .

;)
