We are leaving in 5 weeksfor 8 days at WDW All Star Music. My DH, DS (3.5), and I. I was wondering if anyone had a good packing list they would share. I love lists and checking things off. I have one in my head but I wanted to compare it to other families before I typed it all up.

I'm just nervous because I'm flying Northwest and we will have to pay up to $150 if we need a second bag. I wanted to pack as smart as possible in 1 bag each.

Roll up the clothes to make room in the luggage.
sunscreen
diaper wipes( good for sticky hands at the parks)
t shirts and shorts for every day+ 2 pairs of pants( I can bring less shorts since I won't be that messy and my dd will bring a bit less since she's in costume most of the time)
costumes(in the carry on)
treats for in line ( small things like pez, light up suckers, stickers, dollerstore toys)
toiletries(little swimmers and pullups)
Hip pouches for everyone
kleenex for the parks
scissors and thread
small travil first aid kit
allergy and tylonal medication( if a child gets stung allergy medication will bring down the swelling)
I won't be bringing extra shoes since my kids don't really need 2 pairs.
I won't bring more then I need for clothes and will make the kids wear light jackets on the plane. No big snacks will be brought.I'm buyng hats for the kids at disney.

I'm bringing a carry on for my camara, extra outfits, little things I don't want crushed. We are using 3 carry on's and 2 luggage for 1 adult and 2 kids 3,6.

Cool - we will be there in 3 weeks, so I am starting to think about packing too, and unless we find a stellar deal on flights, we are driving, so I will be able to pack as heavy as I want !!

We have 3 kids DS11, DD8, DS5 turning 6 while we are there, and it will also be DH and I, and my parents (well, I'm not packing for them though;) ) We are going the last week of August so it will be HOT, and we are there for 7 days.

Clothes:
-as many white or light t-shirts as I can find for all of us - I will aim for at least 10 t-shirts per person
-2 or 3 dressier (collared golf shirts) for DH and the boys and fancier shirts for me and sundresses for DD to wear to fancier dinners
-7 pairs shorts plus maybe a couple skirts for myself and DD
-light zip up sweatshirt or something for each
-loads of underwear and bras (maybe this is tmi, but I hate being sweaty)
-2 or 3 bathing suits each
-2 rain poncho's each
-hats for each
-crocs for each plus flip flops for each, plus one other pair of shoes for each

Misc:
-autograph books and pens for the kids
-pin lanyards
-park book and all our plans for the day etc
-glow sticks
-bunch of disney stuff from the dollar store
-ziplock bags large and small
-camera and memory cards
-laptop
-misting fans
-sunscreen (and LOTS of it!!!!)
-DD will want to bring her giant stuffed mickey and minnie I'm sure
-birthday gift for DS (disney of course, plus a special birthday shirt I ordered)
-

Toiletries etc:
-tylenol!!
-gravol!!
-allergy meds
-kiddie allergy and cold and pain meds
-upset tummy meds of all sorts
-all the other jazz like toothpase and deoderant etc etc etc.......
-lots of hair ties

Foods and Snacks:
-water water water
-maybe a case of sports drinks or something
-breakfast type snacks like cereal bars etc...
-chips and pretzel snacks

we will stop on the way in to buy most of the snacks, we can't bring down fruits and veggies, and you all in the US have waaaaayyy cool snacks that we never get in Canada anyway!

I don't know, that doesn't seem like a very long list, I have probably forgotten a TON of things. Looking forward to see other lists for what I am missing!

If only we were driving. Then I could take everything. Flying used to be so easy, I just hope I can pack everything we need and have no problems at the airport.

They do have taxis and walmarts in Orlando. :goodvibes

True....but with the standard taxi ride between resorts being $15.00+. I wonder how much that $2.95 box of bandaides will REALLY cost. :scared1:

WARNING! We usually always drive and I am a very heavy packer! Just ask my DH.

Here is the list. I don't take everything everytime, but I have taken it at one time or another so it was added to the list. It is my master list and I cross off stuff if it is not needed during the next trip.

Great list, its even alphabatized! I need to go pick up a door shoe thing. I love that idea. My dollar store was out of them the other day. Lists are so great, they give a warm fuzzy feeling.

Alphabatized for the most part... I moved somethings to the bottom because I didn't need them last time. They were part of the crossed off items. ;)

around what area are the door shoe holder things in the dollar store? i looked the other day and couldn't find them at mine, not sure what "department/aisle" those would be in. can anyone point me in the right direction?

I am so printing off your list too - I love organized people!!

They are in the aisle with the organizer stuff...

Other stuff in the same aisle (at our Walmart):
Shoe racks, hangers, laundry bags, baskets, drawer dividers, I think they also have mothballs and whatnot in that aisle too.
I think it is the Housewares section. One aisle over from the Rubbermaid tubs.

I was glancing over the list quickly since others are going to be using it and I didn't want to be responsible for other people forgetting important things. I thought I was going to have to ammend the list because I didn't see panties. I typed it up and remembered DH made me change the list because he didn't wear panties; he wears underwear... :rotfl:

I also had to add Electic Razor for him. Razor wasn't enough to remind him and he "forgot" it at home one year.:confused3 I think it was just and excuse to not have to shave for a week. No excuses any more! :thumbsup2

Wow, you are so organized. Thanks for sharing. I will begin packing for WDW this week (we leave on 9/6). I wanted to add a small pump of waterless hand sanitizer for the backpack (goes also with the wet wipes), but we don't have a baby anymore (DS - 8, DD - 4.5) so we'll just need to keep them germ free and unsticky, if that is possiblepopcorn:: .
