Anyone want to nit-pick my planned schedule?

Ok, Wednesday will be my 30 day mark and, since I am not staying on property, the day that I can start making my fastpass+ reservations. I am completely open to suggestions/ideas as I am hoping someone will be able to fill in a few knowledge gaps I have. ;-)

I do need to point out that neither of us going cares for RRnC at HS, and TT is not that thrilling at EP.

Also, all of the reservations that can be made have already been made. Just looking for input on FP+ selections mostly. :thumbsup2

July 18 (Friday) Arrival day
Check-in to resort about 5 pm, head to Hollywood Studios
FP+ Tower of Terror, TSMM, and Star Tours
Standby for the late show of Fantasmic!

July 19 Epcot Day 1
Late lunch / early dinner @ Garden Grill (4:15pm)
FP+ Soarin', Maelstrom, and Mission:Space

July 20 Animal Kingdom
Late lunch at Tusker House (2:45 pm)
FP+ Expedition Everest, Kali River Rapids, Dinosaur

July 21 Epcot Day 2
Late lunch at Chefs de France (2:50 pm)
FP+ Soarin', Mission:Space, and Spaceship Earth

July 22 Magic Kingdom Day 1
Breakfast at Chef Mickey's (7:35 am)
FP+ 7 Dwarfs Mine Train, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain
Pirates and Pals cruise (7:30 pm :confused3 I will need to double check on what time to be there, it isn't on my master schedule spreadsheet)

July 23 Magic Kingdom Day 2
Keys to the Kingdom Tour (8:00 am)
FP+ 7DMT (again, to be changed if we are less impressed), Big Thunder Mountain, ETWB
Wishes Dessert Party (9 pm)

July 24 Down(town) day
No plans, other than maybe visit DTD and souvenir shop, rest, and recover from the busy, busy, week so far.

July 25
Lunch at Sci-Fi dinner (2:45pm)
FP+ Great Movie Ride (specifically to see the Cowboys and Robbers bank explosion skit), ToT, and Star Tours

Some of the meals may get dropped between now and then (Chefs, Tusker House) or changed depending on mood and availability (Sci-fi --> '50's Prime Time).

Some of the rides listed to FP+ I know are not "needed", but just wondering what others thing of the general schedule.

Thanks for any input.

Hard to critique without any time frames for arrival and FP+. Just wanted to ask, will the spinning be back at Garden Grill by then? It hasn't moved in weeks.

Sorry, we are driving in, and should arrive between 4 and 5 pm, based on past drive times.

I also don't know exactly what times I'll have available to select from, but other than the arrival day and the KTTK tour day, hoping to get most times for the morning.

I did not know about the Garden Grill not spinning. :scared1::scared1: I certainly hope it is spinning by then!!

As of 1:45 today, the restaurant is again rotating. Should have checked for the update. Late morning FP+ is a good use. Your plan to eat at off times is also very good. Locking in your dessert party makes sure you see the fireworks. Have you considered using your Kali River FP+ for just before leaving the park? You may get very wet and don't want to dine in wet clothes.

YAY!!! That is excellent to hear. Now here's hoping it doesn't go down before I get there. :goodvibes

Thanks. That is what I was thinking. Plus, most of the meals are going to be in the hottest part of the day, so I can soak up some of the A/C while not having to walk around.

Locking in your dessert party makes sure you see the fireworks.

Yep, that was the goal. That and I really NEED extra ice cream. :rotfl2:

See, this is why I wanted to put this out here before I started scheduling. That didn't even occur to me. :thumbsup2

Your 1st day time frame may be tight. If you are checking in at 5:00 that would put you at the park by 6:00-6:30. When you start booking FP+ they cannot over lap so you will need at least 3 hours to get them in. It will just depend on availability.

Looks line a good plan:thumbsup2

OTOH, depending on how you feel about wet clothes, a Kali ride after your lunch may be a good idea on a hot July day!
Don't know what days Fantasmic is showing, but that's a possible suggestion on your DHS day OR I see you don't have TSMM picked - if you wasn't to do that one it's an important FP pick. . . I don't think Great Movie ride is too critical to select as FP usually

What time does MK open on your Chef Mickey day? If 9:00, you've got a good breakfast time to then get over to MK for rope drop.

Looks like a fun itinerary! I've been interested in the Keys to the Kingdom tour myself but never did it. Have a great trip!
