Might sound silly but I can’t decide on which color to get. I’m narrowed down to the solid turquoise or lilac. My family has the other colors and we want to all be different. I’m not partial to either color but can’t decide and need to get our bands ordered soon. I am female, 40s and fave color is blue.

Anyone have a fave color out of these two? Is one just better for some reason? Truly just looking for casual opinions!

I found my magic bands always became a disaster because of sunscreen. I honestly was most happy with the white one I got on my last trip, although it was not a magic band plus. That said I would pick turquoise just because. :)

I see you picked Turquoise. I was going to suggest that since your favorite color is blue. Have fun.

I have never heard this before!
Once you've received the MB+, you pair it to bluetooth on your smartphone using the MDE mobile app. Once paired, there are several settings that can be changed, one of which is for the color pattern of the face.

There's also a couple of interactive "games" you can do with a MB+ and the Play Disney Parks mobile app. One is to collect the statues that were originally added for WDWs 50th. And for Star Wars fans, there is a Bounty Hunting game in Galaxy's Edge (at WDW & DL).

Adding that pairing a MB+ to bluetooth on your smartphone is OPTIONAL. It's only necessary if you want to adjust any settings or take advantage of the interactive games in the Play Disney Parks app. If you don't pair it, it will still function just like any other version of MagicBand.

If anyone does play the games in the Play Disney Parks app, it will drain the battery faster than normal and you would definitely want to recharge nightly in that case. The battery in the MB+ is used for the interactive features as well as automatic linking of ride photos/videos.
