Anyone waiting for 2010???

At first I was feeling like, "Man! I have to wait an entire year!", but now I am totally into "plan" mode! I am going to get envelopes marked, Mousekeeping, Dining Tips, Misc. and start putting a little money in them each week. I think this will make me feel like I'm accomplishing something Disney-esque!

Love being in plan mode!!! I don't have envelopes but, I am starting the savings account...I'll deposit $100/week starting....ummmm, today. Forgot it is Thursday!!! I was even thinking of having my direct deposit set up so, that $100 goes to the savings and the rest goes to the checking. But, I'm starting today!!! Happy planning!!! Looking forward to chatting and hearing all the details!

Me!!! I am going into planning mode, although, I am not 100% sure when we will be going. We are going to celebrate being debt free...and we aren't there yet. lol Hopefully we will be booking our trip for the early months of 2010.

I am doing some planning. I am trying to decide on resorts and dining options. I have also been trying to get my extended family on board (mom, sister, stepdad, bil and nephew). But sadly I am the only Disney Freak in my extended family. Luckily my DH and kiddos have been converted to the Disney way of life. So, I think it will just be the 5 of us again.

I LOVE WDW planning! We already have a room booked, so now I'm thinking about possible ADRs we might want to do this time. Our 1st night we will do either California Grill or Artist Point. We've eaten at both of those once in the past & liked them both. Then we will do Chef Mickey's for the 1st time for breakfast the morning we leave. Then I am going to sign my older DS for the cooking class at GF. We usually do one ADR in World Showcase, but we need to decide which country it will be this time. My DH would like to try Morocco or Germany & I would rather do Italy or France.
I can't wait for the calendar to come out for next Feb so I can plan our days. I've also been thinking about what rides my older DS can now go on.
We already have $450 Disney Visa reward dollars to spend! I am hoping to double that in the next year so I can put at least half of that towards our room & then use the rest for ADRs & souvenirs!!!

Our family is looking at having a large family reunion either June or July of 2010. Seems like forever away, but enough time to get the whole crew to start planning. At this point in time we have approximately 80 people going.

Yes, you can book room only 499 days away. We are going early Feb 2010 so I was able to book a room. You need to put down one night's deposit & you can cancel up to 5 days b4 arrival. You don't have to pay the rest til you check in unless you change it to a package at some point. We will change it to a package later.
I love that I have a room reserved already! It makes it official!

I just made our reservations for the Cabins at Ft. Wilderness lodge today! We'll be there Jan. 24th-Feb. 1st, and I can hardly wait!!!!!

I've been thinking about this trip since we drove away from the Poly in January 2007!

Thanks! DH took the photo on our last trip. Even though I know I'll be doing my ressie over when packages come out late summer, it is nice to know that I have at least made the trip "official"!

Oh, I know! When we went last summer I told my Dad that I had already put a deposit down on our package in December and he asked "what's the rush" . I told him you don't understand we only have 6 months left and he thought that was all the time in the world!

Everyone understood once we got there why I had gotten so crazy about planning because we really did have a great trip. We ate at great restaurants, went to the parks in the morning, went back to the room for a swim midday and then went back during EMH. It was really nice. Everyone would ask, "how did you know about this?" to which I replied "the DIS boards of course".

We are planning for our 2nd trip to the World in 2010... have to see what the rates are etc but we cant wait... DD will be in school then but we will take her out for a few days for this!!! We had a great time in May 2008 and cant wait to go back there is so much we missed and so much we want to do again!!!!

We are thinking about going in May but not sure.....

we are going to be there 1 year from now. we have our dates picked, resort (dvc) picked, our schedule outlined, etc. now we just have to wait for the cheap airfare to become available. here's hoping the economy doesn't kill this trip for us! (we were supposed to be going next month but dh's conf was cancelled and then so was our trip.)
