Anyone vaccinated at Walgreens on Florida?

Some friends are supposed to drive to Florida before they qualify (in Canada) to get their booster shots. For peace of mind, they are wondering if they could get booster shots while in Florida. I noticed that you can book appointments at Walgreens. Have any Canadians tried this before?

My parents are Canadian and are staying down there for the winter, they got their booster shots yesterday at Walgreens.

We did ours 2 weeks ago. The Walgreens website is easy to navigate but it will for sure only let u book a booster 180 days out; it let's u know the earliest you can book. Used the hotel address much like getting tested and they give you a CDC card. They also wanted to see our original (although I'm sure pics will do as well) vax records to double check the date and type.

We got our original dose #2 at CVS in FL. Not Canadian (from PA) but we have vacay place there and spend time down there. They didn't even ask for ID. Just put insurance info in when making appt. Has option to select no insurance as well.

Not in Florida, but this is our plan if we go on our cruise end of next week when we cross the border. I know we won't have our full protection for the cruise, but figured we would stop on our way down (driving anyways).

I want to know this too! I have my 9 year old booked on Saturday on Kirkman Rd. and I have no idea how much it will cost!

There's no charge. You use your hotel address and indicate you don't have any insurance. We did our boosters about 3 weeks ago at Walgreens; no charge.

Not Florida, but we flew out of Cleveland (driving down from Niagara) and I got a booster at Costco in Cleveland, it was free I just used my Canadian passport for ID.

My 9 year old was vaccinated at the 4720 South Kirkman Road location on the 26th. Effortless experience. Highly recommend.

My husband got his second dose at CVS in July. We had no issues.

Cvs, Walmart, Walgreens… if no insurance, free of charge. If insurance, they do the paperwork. You do need ur ID and ur vax card You can sign up online. Easy process. Stay safe All b

I just saw today here in Florida, no appt ready , just walk in at Wal-Mart. We just arrived after Nashville. So maybe tomorrow or Wednesday. but going to most definitely do it.
