Anyone used tourinplans.com before?

I have no problem separating the group. My DH goes into a line w/ the kids while I run for FPs. By the time I get back, they are usually either finished with the ride and in line for a second go round (with me) or still in line and I can join them. I never had a problem because we are all usually in one ride vehicle anyway and don't hold anyone else up.

Is Touringplans.com better or not as good as, or about the same as Tour Guide Mike?

Any opinions welcome.

Not as good as, IMO. We've used both. touringplans had us all over the park with lots of extra walking and no explanation on what to do when we encountered a ride or two which were either closed or had delayed openings. We ended up scrapping the plan about mid day.

TourGuideMike's plans flow much better and make more sense logistically, and he provides you with the info you need to make spontaneous changes to your plan and still avoid lines/crowds.

I have the book and just subscribed a couple of days ago - mainly for the cheat sheets and such. I received an email newsletter that had a discount code so I paid $5 and some change. PM me if you want that code - I'd have to go back to my email and find it. Anyway, I too don't want to be running all over the place. Although this is our first time at WDW - my husband and I are theme park veterans. So, i decided to split MK into 2 days and follow the touring plan for the most part, with some minor revisions. For one thing, it left out some of the rides we wanted to do and included a couple of things we aren't interested in (or aren't able to do). When we get back in Oct I will know better if this works b/c we plan to use the ones for MGM and AK to the tee since there's not as many rides. I wish they had some way for you to check which rides and shows you wanted to see and then they made it up from there. That would be awesome!! I love the book though - I already weeded out a couple of rides b/c of the kids and just feel like I know more about where we'll be going.

Just my 2 cents!

I had the discount code and still didn't get the discount. I know it is only a couple of bucks but still irks me. I emailed them but have not heard back. This was 3 days ago.
