Anyone Used the Timeshare Exchange?

I am curious -- although I love to go to WDW -- there may be some times where we want to exchange points for a "condo" exchange.

Can someone who has done this give me some insight -- I know that typically you must exchange a "weeks" worth of points - that obviously varies seasonally.

How many points did it take?
Did you exchange for a 2bd or 1bd?
how does it work?
How far in advance do you need to plan?

Were the accomodations at least as nice as our "home" resorts?

What additional fees do you have to pay?

Please tell me some of your stories and share your knowledge!
