I have a 9 month old (will use his own stroller) and a 3 1/2 & 5 1/2 yr old. We're going in August, so I think we'll want a stroller for the other two. We have a sit N stand, but it's sooo heavy. I really hate to buy something else or rent while we're there if I already have something that works.

Has anyone else used it at WDW? Did the size bother you at all? We're staying off property, so we'll have a car to get it back and forth so the buses shouldn't be a problem.

We haven't been to WDW yet (60 more days) but I have a sit and stand and have used it every where else and love it. I've used it in very crowded places (Taste of Chicago) and only had problems with the rude people who like to walk right in front of me and stop. It is a bit heavy and bulky, but it's better than carring around a 40+ pound kid. We'll also be driving so we're not worried about getting it on the transportation. I can't wait to use it there. :flower:

Hi,

I have used a sit and stand stroller at WDW. If has been a few years now but I loved it. If it is the same one we had it is a little heavier but we stayed on property and even took it on the buses. We didn't want to have to pay to rent two strollers either. It can get really expensive. Your stroller won't be any different size wise than the ones you rent. The only difference is that yours goes front to back where the ones you rent go side to side. So they are big too. Another plus over renting is that the kids stay in them even out to the parking lot instead of trying to carry 2 sleepy kids.

Good luck and have a fun trip. We leave in 30 days!!!!!

FYI, if you don't want to transport your sit n stand you can rent one from www.abbf.com We've rented from them before and were very pleased with service and quality. By the way, when we go in Sept our kids will be 5, 3 and 8 months! I've been going back and forth on what to about strollers for so long now! I finally decided that we're going to take our Pliko since the baby can sit in it and it has a toddler bar to stand on in the back and then we'll buy a cheapo umbrella stroller when we arrive. The older 2 won't need the stroller constantly so we figured that'll probably work, but I'll probaby change my mind a few times again before I make a final decision :rotfl:

Luvdiz,

We used a Sit N Stand stroller for our DD2&1/2 and DS1 on our last Disney vacation May 2004. In fact, that was the reason I broke down & got a double stroller. I had been delaying it because double strollers were so much heavier and difficult to maneuver than singles. So after much research, I chose a Sit N Stand that had two seatbacks with the option of removing the back seat and just having a little bench. I left both seats in for our trip due to the age of our kids. Yes it was a little awkward when needing tocollapse the stroller for instances like getting on the parking trams. But aren't most doubles the same way?

Just like you we stayed offsite and rented a car, so getting on buses/Disney transportation with the stroller wasn't an issue. Overall, it served it's purpose transporting the 2 kids on last year's trip. Worked great going through the airport too. Only annoying part was collapsing it when boarding the plane.

I too was very happy with abbf and I too "think" I'll bring Pliko and a MacLaren umbrella stroller for my 3 kids who will be 6, 4, and 2 but I too keep going back & forth. Last year we had the Pliko and rented doubles in the park. That worked well but I was hoping to save the rental expense this year.

Ha! I was thinking that we might end up renting the doubles from the parks too, but I'm hoping we won't have to due to the expense-however if it keeps them happy and we find that it's necessary we certainly will! To the OP, A Baby's Best Friend will drop off the stroller you rent at whatever place you stay at be it on or off site and then you keep it for your entire stay and then you just leave it at check out and they come pick it up.-I think it's all explained on their web site.

My sister has used her SNS twice at WDW, and LOVES it!
