Anyone used the gift card yet?

Wondering about the $750/$500 gift card promo. We are booked for 1/31. I'm wondering if anyone has reported back about their experience at/after checkin. We want to pay for all of our food with our KTTW card and then use the gift card to settle our room charges on checkout. Is this working for people? Seems much easier than tracking a gift card balance each time we eat.

We don't have experience this year, but we had a similar gift card with our package last year (although a lesser amount) and that is exactly what we did - just applied it to our balance when we checked out.

Haven't had experience with this before, but I'm sure it can be done. Why not call and ask, just to make sure?
