Anyone used SW RR card for 20% off at gate and got 2nd day admission still?

Hi. I called SW and the person I spoke with was a bit clueless which makes me nervous. Has anyone presented their Southwest Rapid Rewards card at the gate for the 20% off discount and been able to get the second day for free. Or on the flip has anyone had any issue with not being able to get the 2nd day because they bought tix with the RR.

PS - For the record the guy I spoke with at SW "thought I could". Hmm lots of warm fuzzy feelings on that one! LOL!

I don't think it matters what type of single day ticket you purchased, you should still get the 2nd day free.

We were there in late April, 2008 and had purchased some discounted tickets for $25 each that I found on a short special deal here on these boards. With those, we got our second day free, so 2 days of SW for $25 each!!!

I also called and asked about the 2nd day free program and was told that any single day ticket qualifies for a 2nd day free, which there are some restrictions with. Mostly I think it is how long you have to use them after your first day. Your families names will be printed on the 2nd day tickets, but we didn't have to produce any ID, even though they said we, as the adults, would have to. Kid's don't have to show ID.
