Looking to adopt my step daughter. Wondering if anyone has used reliable adoption.com before? they only want 325 to do it all. other do it yourself places want about 1000.

Just curious if you went ahead and used reliableadoption.com or not. I am also considering using the website and want to know if it's for real or even a process that is easy to use. Almost seems too easy!

We did not use them, but used a person that handled our divorces, like a paralegal person who did get it all done for us. Our adoption was final on june 16, 2011!

The lawyer I checked with charges $300 plus an additional charge if the notice needs to be put in newspaper. We can also do it ourselves through the court and its quite a bit cheaper.

We had to get the parental rights terminated first for the bio father, he agreed in 3 seconds, then after that, the county attorney did it all for free, our total cost was about 1500 when all done with court papers, copies, adoption agency fee-to do a report on us, etc. took about 4 months start to finish
