Anyone used Polaroid's camera that prints stickers?

Wal Mart (and probably other stores) has a small Polaroid camera that seems to be marketed for teens and kids. Instead of the usual Polaroid film most people are familar with, this one uses that film become stickers. They look like they are pretty small, maybe 1.5" by 2". Like most Polaroid film, refills aren't cheap but I was thinking this might be a really fun way to personalize my DD's autograph book - take a pic of DD with the character and be able to soon after add the photo sticker to the page with the autograph.

Has anyone used one of these cameras? It seems like a pretty limited use kind of thing so I haven't bought one because I'd hate to buy it only to find it doesn't do a very good job for the one thing I got it to do.

Thanks

Yes, we have one. Bought the old style on clearance and lots of film too! It's dd(4)'s camera and so we can take a pic of her with each character and stick it to their autograph page. Then when we return home we will scrapbook all of those pages into an album.

We love our i-zone, but make sure you get one of the new ones, the old stuff isn't being made and the new stuff is not retro-compatible. I knew that going in, but I couldn't pass up the $5 camera and the $2 a box film LOL!

Thanks, I may get one. I'll have to take another look at it to see how many stickers come in each pack.

I never used the Polaroid sticker machine, but I came across a Xyron Create-a-Sticker Maker for $14.95 in a Lakeside collection book I received in the mail and I thought that was interesting. They have a website (http://www.lakeside.com), but I don't know if they have a picture of that gadget on it. :) Just sharing.

you can get a xyron from a scrapbooking shop they are a good gadget, but it wouldn't really work for immediate autograph books, cause you'd need the big one to fit a standard poloriod through and you wouldn't want to carry that round teh parks.

We used the I-Zone on our last trip. My daughter loved it and I think the autograph book is her favorite souvenir. I even took a small scissors in my backpack and when we were waiting in line, I could trim the pictures and she could place them in the book. We used it for every autograph. I bought 2 packs of sticker film and too regular, and I came home with film. We will try to do it again in Dec., but without hubbies extra hands to help, it may be a little tougher. I did the sticker camera and he did the digital. I think it is worth it.
