Thanks

Yes, there is a National Car Rental at MCO. We've used them a few times. There is a charge for an extra driver, unless you belong to the Emerald Aisle Club. They have never pushed us to take extra insurance.

From their website:

>>>>Automatic Authorized Drivers

Free (in the United States and Canada) – An Emerald Club members spouse, immediate family member, business partner, employer, or fellow associate who has an assigned corporate contract with National and drives the car for business purposes.
Immediate family is a Mother/Father, Son/Daughter, or Brother/Sister who has the same address on the drivers license as the Emerald Club member's. This includes a spouse regardless of whether he/she has the same last name, is a common law spouse or same gender domestic partner.
Free (in the United States and Canada) – On commercial rentals, the renter's business partner, employer or fellow associate, who has an assigned corporate contract with National and drives the car for business purposes.
All other additional authorized driver situations are subject to a daily charge. <<<<

The daily charge is $7.00.

Go to Mousesavers and follow the link to get a free Emerald Club membership. EC members bypass the counter, so you never have to deal with questions about insurance. Your EC profile indicates your pre-selected option (which I suspect is no added insurance for most users). Also, the post above indicates conditions under which extra drivers are free. Note that your spouse can qualify if that's the situation.

We use National with the Emeral Club service four or five times a year. We've never had a problem.
